Environmental Scientist

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our EcoSciences Team to deliver a variety pf projects around the State and beyond. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Tampa, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Support senior scientists and project managers by assisting with environmental assessments, permitting, wildlife surveys, and compliance monitoring. 

• Conduct fieldwork and data collection, including habitat evaluations, wetland delineations, wildlife surveys & relocations. 

• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, ensuring accuracy of environmental documentation. 

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure the environment is adequately considered in engineering and development projects. 

• The position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on experience in environmental services while contributing to impactful projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience. Preference for experience in the industry and/or having conducted field research 

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in physical or natural sciences or related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology). 

• SPECIAL SKILLS:  

• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Preference for GIS mapping experience. 

• Desire to conduct field work, including wetland delineations and wildlife surveys
